It really depends.
Your caterer or reception site serving the food will include their gratuities with your bill. So, a tip is not necessarily expected. Of course, if you love their service and want to show your appreciations an extra mile, the more the merrier, but it is not required.

Many couples nowadays are sending out Save-the-Date videos instead of mailing out wedding reminders. Not only they are more fun, but they give you more spaces for creativity.
You can do it yourself or hire a professional videographer to shoot the video for you, you can embed your theme into it, and it doesn’t feel like you have to design another invitation card people would put it away.
Here are some nice Save-the-Date videos you can reference for yours!

So it is your big big wedding, and who you want to be invited? Your parents, your BFF, and you want someone bigger and more famous?
How about the United States President Obama and his wife?
Someone did it, and they send their invitation to President Obama at the White House. here is what they got back

As a fellow Canucks, of course we don’t invite the President of another country. We invite our Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper.
I highly recommend you to give it a try, and let me know how it turns out!

First of all, you need to feel about your relationship from your heart. what she/he meant to you, what do you feel, smell, see, vision about your better half.
Then create a vow that last for around 2-4 minutes. Another idea is to listen to songs you like that you think can express your feeling, use the lyrics, and digest them. Make your own version, get inspired.
Following a some poets I want to share, maybe you can get an idea from them.
